International Launch Services (ILS) Proton/Breeze M vehicle has successfully launched the Yahsat 1B satellite today for Al Yah Satellite Communications (Yahsat) of Abu Dhabi. After 9 hours 12 minutes mission the satellite was released into geostationary transfer orbit. Its final orbit destination slot will be announced at the later date.
