Footprints rendering updated
News - Website
Friday, 15 November 2019 16:16

Dear all,

We have just finished the work on updating our footprints rendering engine to OpenStreetMap/LeafletJS solutions.

This significant change will allow us to develop further towards OpenSource solutions and bring additional functionality to our web site users.

As of today our maps will load OpenStreetMap by default with possibility to switch to Satellite view which is based on NASA Blue Marble (up to zoom level 7) and Google Maps Hybrid from level 8 and higher.

Now you can also change the footprint transparency with the control in the bottom right corner.

Many thanks to all the contributors and special kudos to our Android guru alssiesko for making it happen!

If you have any questions or problems with the new functionality do not hesitate to contact us.

Dear all,

Our hosters have just completed the planned maintenance and all our servers had to be rebooted.

As a result we currently experience some technical issues with some pages including the footprints.

Our engineers are currently investigating the root cause and will try to restore the service ASAP.

We do really apologise for the inconvenience!
