Details:
24 standard C-band, 11 extended C-Band and 5 Ku-band transponders to provide telecommunication services to Indonesia, ASEAN countries, Asian countries, Middle East and Australia. As the carrier's third stage failed to get the satellite to the planned orbit, its 400 newton apogee motor was subsequently used (in a non-nominally mode) to raise it into geostationary orbit. Due to the expenditure of fuel during these maneuvers, it is expected to have enough fuel for about ten years of operations. Failed to reach GEO orbit by CZ-3B but Thales Alenia Space was able to maneuver it into the planned GEO, though with a reduced lifetime.
